For your peace of mind, we have put together a Q&A format that answers the most frequently asked questions when visiting our clinic. We are striving to create an environment where even people who have difficulty finding time due to work or child-rearing reasons can efficiently consult a doctor, and by using online services, they can consult a doctor in detail about the symptoms they are concerned about. We are available from early morning until late at night, and utilize our experience in providing medical care on remote islands as a lifesaving doctor to assist with a wide range of consultations.

Q What is the approximate cost of a medical examination?
A

The consultation fee is as follows.


①Costs when conducting online medical treatment

Insurance medical treatment burden + self-pay: 550 yen (tax included)

*If you fax or mail your prescription to the designated pharmacy


②Costs for visiting our hospital after online consultation

During our clinic hours Own expense: 1,650 yen (tax included)
Outside of our clinic hours (closed days/night) Own expense: 2,750 yen (tax included)
Q Do I need a face-to-face consultation for the first time to start online medical treatment?
A

It is not necessary if the doctor determines that online consultation is possible through online consultation (recommended).

Q Is a referral letter from another hospital required?
A

If you have one, please bring it with you as it will be helpful for your medical treatment. However, you can be examined without a referral letter.

Q Do I need an insurance card?
A

Your insurance card is required for consultation at our hospital. Please register within the app.

Q What payment methods are available for medical fees?
A

Payment can only be made by credit card from the Digisma app.

Q How can I receive my medicine?
A

You can pick up your medication at a pharmacy near your home or have it delivered to your home.

Q Are colds also covered?
A

Please visit our online fever outpatient clinic. You can pick up your medication at a nearby pharmacy. If the pharmacy is not dispensing medicines, such as at night, your medicine will be delivered at a later date or you will be asked to make a house call.

Q What should I do if I suddenly become unwell?
A

Please consult our hospital first. We will advise you according to your medical condition. If necessary, we will be happy to send you a letter of introduction.

Q Is it possible to have a consultation outside of clinic hours?
A

Online consultation is available 24 hours a day.

Q I have concerns about test results from other hospitals. Can I consult with them online?
A

Please feel free to contact us. This can be done by displaying the test results on the screen during an online consultation. You may have to send it by email.
